This Explains a Lot


Story on CNN and elsewhere says: Scientists find 1 to 4 percent of genes carried by non-African people are traceable to neanderthals.

Well, actually it doesn't explain anything at all. There appears to be a link to another story, but the link is invalid.

I'd be interested in reading the story, though. Perhaps I can then understand how it is that 1:4, Neandertal, and non-African are linked to mysteriously explain something ...

The picture of the Neanderthal should have been superimposed over the previous picture of the state capitol building.
