This past week, I managed to capture one of this year's few blooms on my night blooming cereus plants. See! Leaving for work at 3:00am does have one advantage!...(-:

Oh how beautiful! I wait each year for you to post a picture of your incredibly beautiful cereus. I'm so glad I logged onto your blog tonight; not just for this wonderment but your other postings as well. With the passing of NBC's Edwin Neuman today I remember Huntsville's late (as of this year) News Editor, Billy Joe Cooley, often telling me that you were/are a good, thorough, caring & honest newsman. After knowing you for 40 years, I'd have to concur with Billy Joe's sentiments. Thanks Tim Lennox
