This State Holiday

Re-enactors, Tallassee, Alabama
     Today is the anniversary of Jefferson Davis' birthday, and it is a state holiday in Alabama.     When I worked at APT it was great to get an extra day off, though it always took me by surprise...."A holiday for what??" Here are some images of Confederate Alabama I've taken in recent years.
