America's Most Conservative State Is.....

     
     Alabama, naturally, but the real surprise in the Gallup Poll released today is the percentage of Alabamians who call themselves conservative.
 
80%?  75%?  60%?

How about just 50.6%
The Reddest of the Red States has only a slight majority who call themselves conservatives? Ah, but it's the moderates who make the difference...they are 32% in Alabama, Leaving just 14.6% who identify as liberal.
