Advertiser: Local VA Falsified wait records

  

   The Montgomery Advertiser is out with a front page story citing an email it obtained. It says the results of an audit of the hospitals in both Montgomery and Tuskegee will be released tomorrow, and the results will show officials falsified records to indicate shorter wait times for veterans.
     And the paper reports the two VA hospitals are among those  with the most serious infractions....and that even with the cheating, they still had the 8th longest wait times in the country!
     Did veterans in Alabama die because they had to wait for care?
