An exhibit of African Art continues through November 16th at the Museum.

The scheduled December 8th Colorado Trial of the alleged
theater shooter is raising the ongoing argument about allowing TV and/or still cameras in the courtroom.
I have a dog in the fight, of course, and argue that cameras should always be allowed in with some exceptions...when a juvenile defendant is involved, for example.
Cameras are never allowed in Federal Courts, and policies vary widely in state and local courts. Frequently in Alabama, the best we can do is shoot through a small window, and are glad to have even that small opportunity.

Journalism in The Movies:

Opening in Theaters on October 10th, Kill The Messenger tells the story of a reporter who broke the story that the CIA was facilitating the importation of crack cocaine into U.S. cities.
