AP reports a settlement in the State of Alabama's effort to block Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid funding.

Bentley's decision came after a Federal court had slapped down Louisiana's effort to cut the funds. The state is appealing that order. Bentley's press release also fails to mention that the settlement means the state will pay Planned Parenthood's $51,000 in legal expenses...though it does link to the actual settlement that includes that fact.
According to the ABC story, PPSE received the princely sum of $5,000 over two years to provide screening and contraceptive services.
