Alabama Flag Removed from U.S. Capitol Building

     The Hill newspaper reports that the flags with confederate images, or inspired by confederate images, prompted the removal of ALL flags from a tunnel in the Capital complex.
     Alabama's state flag is considered to have been inspired by the confederate battle flag.
    



     Governor Bentley removed Confederate battle flags from the Confederate Memorial on the Capital grounds last year.
