Sunday Focus: Hurricane Season 2016

     Hurricane Season  begins on Wednesday, though we've already used up one name on the Weather Service list for a small storm early this year...the next one hit this weekend...Bonnie brought mostly just rain to some East Coast States.

 The 2016 names:

Alex                                                       The first seaman to accurately measure the impact of
Bonnie                                                   a hurricane on a ship sailing through the eye may have been
Colin                                                       Raphael Semmes, Captain of the CSS Alabama during the
Danielle                                                 U.S. Civil War. He drew this chart at the time, in 1864 off
Earl                                                        The U.S. East Coast.
