Sunday Focus: Hyundai

The newest vehicle assembled in the Montgomery plant is the Santa Fe Sport, and some of the reviews are astounding:

"Hyundai Santa Fe is really one very well-rendered, comfortable and attractive SUV. Just like in politics, some people are not going to listen to what you have to say, ever. Too bad for them, as the 2017 Santa Fe Sport I recently drove, equipped with AWD and a 240-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, was an especially accomplished vehicle.."
Yes, one small Colorado newspaper, but look around and you'll find a lot of positive buzz.

Kelly Blue Book reports prices range from $31.6 k to $40.2 k (Older guys like me think hear 40k and think of a house price! My parents first house, in  New York City, cost $14k!)

"Pricing for the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe lineups is up by several hundred dollars on average. The Santa Fe SE now opens at $31,659 with the SE Ultimate starting at $39,595, the FE Limited commences at $35,845 and the FE Limited Ultimate commands $40,295. Those requiring fewer seats can slip into a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.4 for $26,245. Opting for a Sport 2.0T requires $32,595 with the Sport 2.0T Ultimate bumping that sticker to $37,395. Adding all-wheel drive increases all of the above by $1,750."
Cars.com ranked it in the top five SUV's for the year.

Now let's see if Hyundai adds their new luxury line to their only U.S. plant...and at what price.
