The Honeymoon is over...oh wait! It never started.

The cast of the hit Broadway show Hamilton delivered a message to VP-Elect Pence who attended a Saturday night performance, and now the President-Elect is lecturing them on manners.

“Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!” Trump said Saturday on Twitter.

Bloomberg has the story

Update:  FOX reports Pence says no apology needed. Here are the full Trump tweets, including his "I hear" review of the hit play.

Trump said on Twitter on Saturday: “Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!”
He tweeted on Sunday: “The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior.”
“The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!” he tweeted minutes later.

  1. Harassed? Hardly.

The incident was as scripted as is professional wrestling. Pence left his seat before the cast gave their short, polite remarks. He listened, probably in the lobby.

Reminds me, sort of, of George Wallace's "stand in the schoolhouse door."

Everyone saved face in both incidents.
