Siegelman could be released as early at next month, though that is entirely up to the U.S. Department of Justice.
I thought that the President has the power to pardon or commute sentences, not the DOJ. Am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteMy DOJ comment is about the decision to release a prisoner early for good time etc. I doubt Obama will act in his case before he ends his presidency.
