Airshow 2017

Day two of The Maxwell Air Force Base Air Show is underway this afternoon. More than 100-Thousand people came by.

Visitors watched aerial shows, but also were abe to get up close to parked craft like Lockheed's C-5 Galaxy...the largest aircraft routinely operated by the U.S. military. It has a payload capacity of almost 240,000 pounds and can carry two M1 Abrams main battle tanks, 16 Humvees, or a variety of other vehicles.

I joined Meteorologist Ryan Stinnett and Promotions Director Meghan Carruth to meet folks at The Alabama News Network tent Sunday Morning.
Lots of nice people came by and talked about watching Olivia, Ryan and me weekday mornings. Thank You!

Air War College Commander Kwast and Montgomery Mayor Strange.

Ample security, as expected on and near the base.

Watch Alabama News Network Weekend at 5:30 this afternoon on ABC Montgomery or at 10:00 tonight on either ABC Montgomery or CBS 8 for a report on the show.
