I remember that day well. Our AC conked out and even though we had a service contact, it took about a week to get a new part. Hundreds of other folks--maybe thousands--had the same problem.
ReplyDeleteWe had to stay in a Quality Inn in Prattville for several days until the AC was fixed. (It wasn't easy to find a motel that would accept pets.)
On our final night there, we were moved to the first floor. Why? The room came with a Jacuzzi, and we were given this at no extra charge! It was the last room that was available.
