State Rep. involved in gunfire incident.

Ashland Attorney Greg Varner tweeted a photo of the float/BBQ Grill in 2014.

Rep. Steve Hurst (R-House District 35) has used a unique float to show his support for guns during parades in his district. It's actually a big BBQ grill built to look like a gun. Hurst owns a pawn shop that sells guns.
Now AL.COM reports he was involved in an gun incident on Sunday in Oxford, Alabama, in which two people were injured, but not seriously.

Hurst has sponsored controversial bills, including one that would certain male and female sex offenders to be castrated before being released from prison (HB 365 in 2016).
