Took a leisurely drive down to cotton country today for lunch in Eufaula....and spotted lots of political signs for candidates on both sides of the aisle, and both sides of the highways...including a dozen or more of these:
Lots of other signs were promoting the gubernatorial candidates, using their first names...Walt and Kay.
And I spotted this historic marker in Barbour County about an election almost 150 years ago:
