As Promised: The Stronger Zoom Moon Shots

65x zoom does make a difference! Here are my first moon shots with the new Canon Powershot SX70 HS. Just in time for the total lunar eclipse (Blood Moon) this Sunday, January 20th!

When the Eclipse Happens

Lunar eclipses can be visible from everywhere on the night side of the Earth, if the sky is clear. From some places, the entire eclipse will be visible, while in other areas the Moon will rise or set during the eclipse.
