Short Memories

     So the live Oak trees cut down at Toomer's Corner in Auburn were just 83 years or so old?
What short memories we have!
     83 years is well within the lifespan of folks, no?
     83 years from now, there will be gazillion video clips and photos of the new trees, or whatever they replace the old one with.
     And I'll bet lifespans will be longer to the point that people will remember it from personal experience.
