A Tale of Two Zoos.

On April 15th, officials at the zoo in Palm Beach decided not to kill a endangered tiger that had attacked a zoo keeper, using tranquilizer darts instead, waiting for them to take effect before recovering the then dead zookeeper.

Then, yesterday, Saturday, a child fell into the gorilla habitat at the zoo in Cincinnati.  This time a specially trained team went into action and killed the gorilla, also a member of an endangered species.

The Palm Peach  zoo officials defend their decision

But the online crowd is appalled that the animal was killed. Like it would have been better to wait to see if he killed the child?

The incident comes a month before the CBS-TV program Zoo returns for a second season on June 28th
