Wow again.

Hats off to the members of the Alaska Air National Guard who didn't give up on saving the life of a hunter critically wounded by a bear attack.
When their rescue helicopter couldn't get through because of fog, they arranged for a HC-130 to fly the route tossing flares to provide enough illumination for the chopper to get through the foggy pass, land, use night-vision goggles to find the victim, pick him up, and fly out of the foggy wilderness.
Oh yea, they refueled the chopper between cloud layers in flight during that foggy night too.
     Amazing.
Has that ever been done before?
By the way, there were six people mauled by bears in the U.S. on Saturday!
