Had a great time being back on the radio...Birmingham News Editorial Cartoonist Scott Stantis asked me on as a guest and we spent an hour talking about a mix of politics and media. Frank Giardina (a.k.a. Frank Lewis in radio days of old) works for the company that owns WAPI and he stopped by...we even had a couple of calls from "regular callers" from my talk radio days (one went by the nickname "P.R."...which if I recall, was given him by one-time co-host Tony Giles when we did a morning show on WYDE. It stood for "Paranoid-Radical", though I don't remember how he earned that name. Anyway, it was great fun and a reminder how unencumbered Radio is compared to hosting TV. Thanks Scott!
It was good to hear you on Birmingham radio again, Tim. I recall listening to the "Likeable Liberal" on WERC. It's unfortunate that we no longer have "fair and balanced" programming there.
