We taped two holiday FTR's today for airing on the Fridays after Christmas and New Years...both are a kind of a Year-In-Review...and one topic on the 12/26 show was the awful state of the news media, print and broadcast. On their online site, a NY Times story is reporting cuts in the one place you would think there would be an increase in the need for media...Washington D.C....as a new Administration takes office in the midst of a Recession and two wars. This gets more brutal every day.
