Uh, forever?

True story at my local the Post Office this morning:
Customer: "How long at those 'forever stamps' good for?"
Clerk: (slight pause) "Forever."

    Yes they are good "forever" - that is, IF you can get them. I have tried three times over the last six months to buy them at the local post office but they always say "The don't send us any".
