And What About The "Pros"?

I read this afternoon that two self-described stock experts have been convicted on seven counts of fraud in Virginia. These two went on late-night TV and pitched a product called "Teach Me To Trade", which supposedly would help you buy stocks and make a profit. According to testimony, one of the two lost money in his own market investments while the other made a little. I say if we're going to charge them with fraud, what about all the licensed and also "self described" stock guys at the big-name brokerage firms that led many of us down the path to becoming proud owners of 201-k retirement accounts. The only difference I can see is the "Teach Me To Trade"computer program.
