Will there be a wave of support now?

One of the candidates for Mayor in Birmingham has been found dead in his apartment...according to the Birmingham News., apparently of illness. The story says his name will remain on the ballot on Tuesday, when the electorate decides who will replace the ousted Larry Langford.
Ironically, the News ran a profile on him today.
I just wonder if there will be people who will vote for Mr. Ernie Dunn out of sympathy, or because they want to make a statement that they are disenchanted with the crop of remaining folks on the ballot?

RIP

  1. The mayoral race in Birmingham is the oddest I've ever seen, anywhere. Fourteen candidates! And I've lost count of how many have sat in the Mayor's chair in the last few weeks.

Many of them are spectacularly unqualified.

    RIP

Yeah, I read the sad news in today's fish wrapper/trash can liner.

What was even more sad was the report that he allegedly said he was competing in the race because he needed a job.

Reckon the citizens of Bum-in-ham could file a class-action lawsuit against LaLa and other co-conspirators?

I mean, they gotta' take it out of something. Might was well be their hide.
