Bob Corley and Sandra Polizos are the Publisher/Editor team who've pulled it together.
I contributed an article to the May edition. The new zine is distributed free at more than 300 locations in the River Region, with sites in Montgomery, Prattville, Wetumpka, and Millbrook including Publix supermarkets, restaurants, YMCAs, fitness centers, pharmacies, salons, and more.
The story I contributed is about the interview I did for CBS-8 TV with Hal Moore, Alabama's retired hero of the Vietnam War.
(A touch of disclosure...Bob and Sandra are longtime friends from my APT years, and I wish them much success with their venture!)

ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Maryland they would toss free copies on my lawn, until I contacted them and told them that I would file a complaint for littering.
And about this new magazine--congratulations, I guess. I hope that it will not be just another magazine for the well-to-do.
