The city with the only non-alcohol Oktoberfest in the world can now go wet...if the organizers of the event says they want to. City voters approved a "wet" vote on Tuesday, clearing the way for beer at the annual Fall event.
Now, perhaps the city can grow again. And I don't refer to the natural growth that occurs as a result of the sale of beverage alcohol, but because Cullman's heritage is German, it once had breweries, which require employees, and which pumps giant money into ANY economy.
Private enterprise is not exclusively limited to retail sales!
