A Wisconsin State Senator is besides himself over some 4th grade kids on a field trip who took part in a protest against the Governor in the statehouse.
The teacher has been reprimanded.
According to a report by the local FOX TV Station:
Er, Senator, been to any Tea Party protests lately?
The teacher has been reprimanded.
According to a report by the local FOX TV Station:
Republican state Rep. Steve Nass told FOX6 the incident was "despicable."
"School children should not be a part of any political protest," fellow GOP Rep. Robin Vos said.
Er, Senator, been to any Tea Party protests lately?
No teacher forced kids to go to a tea party protest, unlike what happened in Wisconsin
ReplyDeleteThe Good State Representative said they they should NOT BE PART OF any political protest....he didn't say forced.
ReplyDeleteThose kids seem to be holding up Teq Party-esque signs. Were they in this protest?
ReplyDeleteJay, I didn't do a good enough job explaining my point. The pictures ARE from tea party protests. I used them to (try to!) make the point that the Representative probably wasn;t concerned about those kids being involved in protests..
ReplyDeleteTim, you assume because the senator is a Republican he must support the Tea Party. Don't assume. They are plenty of Republicans who don't support the Tea Party. Just like there are plenty of Democrats who aren't socialists.
ReplyDeleteOn another point, because they're supporting a liberal cause, you think it's OK for teachers to force their students to go to protests?
