Appeals Court Rejects Mail Bomber Walter Leroy Moody Jr.

On Friday, the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals rejected an appeal by Walter Leroy Moody, the man convicted of assassinating U.S. Circuit Judge Robert Vance in 1989. The judge was killed, and his wife seriously injured, in their Mountain Brook, Alabama, kitchen when the judge opened a package disguised as a Christmas present. Moody remains on Alabama's death row.
