The Death Penalty

     If you listen to opponents of Capital Punishment, the tide is turning against the use of the death penalty.
    But a new Pew study finds little change in recent years. A majority still favor it.

    Yes it is, but he name is "Old Yellow Mamma", and it is still kept in working order in case an inmate chooses the chair over the lethal injection that is the regular method of execution in Alabama now. The legislators were afraid it would cause appeals if they just dropped the chair completely. And, so it is kept around.
