You probably read the story this past week about the Auburn recruit who said on signing day he chose Auburn over Clemson because there "you have to go like 15 minutes to find a Chick-Fil-a, a "real restaurant".
Each year signing week and day will be treated the same, giving the kids adult status and expecting more than kid talk.
- Yay for Auburn in attracting this apparently talented player.
- If Chick-Fil-a is a "Real Restaurant, then I have so been eating wrong all my life.
- Where you attend college
to learnto play sports should involve a little more than the location of a fast-food place, no? - Aren't we all paying a little too much attention to these teenagers whose skill sets are mostly limited to the field? Has anyone ever done a story about the number of National Merit Finalists who choose Auburn or Alabama? Ever?
