Here's the story.
I agree with the critique...awards from truly non-partisian groups like The Associated Press or The Society of Professional Journalists are one thing, but when there is an agenda...and I even extend that to groups like Trial Lawyers Associations and Medical Associations..avoid accepting them.
They're lobbying groups, after all, and journlaists shouldn't be in bed with them.
