Gambling on Education

The local Native American Tribe has donated two-million dollars to The Montgomery and Elmore County School systems, where they have gambling facilities...and the systems are free to use the million each anyway they see fit.
     Christmas in March!

Officials with both public school systems were effusive in their praise for the Poarch Creek Indians, but I was surprised to hear so little complaining from the anti-gambling wing or the Alabama Legislature..i.e. the majority. Do they approve of gambling profits funding the schools that they underfund?
