CNN Tries to Explain The South


     CNN online has an in-depth piece about the U.S. South...Dixie, is you will, trying to deflate the stereotypes and keep the heritage. 
     Yup, the usual contradictions about the region. A good read though.

    Yes, a good read. My ex-wife was a Florida military brat, so I've met a lot of family, good and bad. I personally think it's the Southern politicians (and those who vote for them, often against their own interests) who do the most to reinforce the stereotypes.
