According to a Washington Post report, debt collectors are hounding them decades after they took out their loans, even garnishing their Social Security checks to get their pint of blood. Geez! Let it go! If it was a company with that old a debt they could just file bankruptcy...but student loans are exempt for some reason, probably lobbying by higher ed.
