Food Inspections

     The Alabama Department of Public Health inspects every place that prepares and sells food and issues scores for each place....and their website includes a search function so you can look up your neighborhood places, your favorite haunt, or your kid's school lunchroom to see how clean they are...without having somebody yell at you...(-:
     Bookmark this link and the next time you're thinking about going out to eat, check in advance! I sampled listings here in Montgomery and found a few 100 (perfect) scores and a few in the mid 80's!
     Way back in the day there was a place in Birmingham that I remember being so dirty they closed it down. The score was in the 60's! Just the description of what they found was disgusting!
