You will not find the news on The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs "news" page, but more than a dozen Vet Centers in the state are closing, victims of the continuing Alabama budget cuts.

I wonder if Veteran and Governor Robert Bentley ever had to use one of them?
The timing is wonderful, coming a day after so many state officials spent Memorial Day praising the vets who "paid the ultimate price". Then again, since they're dead, I guess they don't need the Vet Centers anyway, do they?
