Voting Rights Act Decision & Bank Closure

A divided Federal Appeals Court has rejected an appeal from Shelby County, Alabama, that argued part of the U.S. Voting Rights Act should be thrown out, that the feds should not be able to require Alabama and other Southern States to get approval from The Justice Department before making changes to election law and procedures.
The next stop may be the U.S. Supreme Court.

And also this afternoon, the Feds closed a bank in Sylacauga, Alabama. It's the 24th bank to be shut down this year.
