Lunar Eclipse in Montgomery

If the web sources I consulted are correct, the partial eclipse will be visible between

4.59 am to 7.07 am CDT. Max at 6.03 am

The eclipse is actually the smaller of two celestial events this week. The rarer is Venus crossing between the Earth and the Sun, so it can be seen as a black circle moving across the Sun;s surface. One happens on Tuesday.
Of course you can't actually look at the sun, but there are ways to view it indirectly. AUM in Montgomery is offering a safe showing on campus.
These NASA photos show a previous Venus transit.
