Alabama journalist Paul Davis has died.
In addition to his stature as a veteran newspaperman, Paul was a frequent and always welcome guest on For The Record. Paul had a wicked sense of humor, and was knowledgeable enough about Alabama's people and issues to contribute to any topic that came up.
He died Sunday in his home after a battle with cancer, at the age of 74.
RIP, Paul, and thank you for your hard work.

A fun, colorful man and journalist. Hate to hear of his passing.
ReplyDeleteBeen out of the state for some time and didn't realize he had died. He was, according to some, a mean-spirited, cruel and relentlessly vengeful man. Others say he was a saint. How many saints do you actually know?
ReplyDeleteHe may have been all of those...but I know I loved having him on For The Record on Fridays.
