Lots of crowds these days in emergency rooms, clinics and doctor's offices in Alabama and elsewhere because of the flu.
At first, the CDC reports indicated seventeen states, including Alabama, had "increased reports" of flu cases. Now the maps show virtually ever state in the nation reporting at least some activity, and most of them widespread flu cases.
You know the rules...lots of hand washing, avoiding crowds if possible, and a flu shot, even though the shot custom designed for this season does not protect from some active versions.
This has been a Public Service Message from Dr. Tim, who has never had a flu shot.
