About Korea

It's just possible the cease-fire agreed to in 1953 may come to an end on the Korean Peninsula.
At the very least, the bizarre leaders of North Korea have been rattling their (maybe nuclear) sabres more loudly than usual.

Rep. Martha Roby, (R-AL)  2nd District
A new Gallup poll shows a majority of Americans want the U.S. to use its mighty military force if the North attacks the South....55% vs 34% who say no.
I wonder what you would find if you asked that 55% if they are willing to see their 18+ sons and daughters  go fight that fight?

Tomorrow (Friday) morning, I'll ask Alabama Senator Jeff Session and Representative Martha Roby about the Korean mess on Alabama News Network (CBS 8 and ABC Montgomery) from 5:00 - 7:00am.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, (R) Alabama

This is as good a site as I've found for anyone wanting a primer on the war that raged between 1950 and 1953.

M*A*S*H took place during The Korean War, but there were much fewer laughs in the real thing.
