The old Birmingham News, once the largest conservative newspaper in Alabama, is continuing it's road to liberalism.
At least that's what some folks may conclude when they read that Editorial writer Joey Kennedy wants to legalize marijuana.
Recent polls have shown more than half of the U.S. population now feels the same way.
Some years ago, the paper reversed a Century of editorial opinion and came out opposed to the death penalty.
Course, if you think about it, both are truly quintessential conservative opinions...pro-life and in favor of less government.
But somehow I don't think Joey's piece will change many minds.
