Can someone please explain to me why the murder case in where-ever about a women convicted of murdering her boyfriend is getting so much attention?
     Arias something or other?
I just looked it up. Here's a CBS report on the verdict etc etc ad naseum.
There are tens of thousands of murders ever day in the U-S. What makes some of them rise above the others to become of great interest? There are no celebrities involved...no multiple victims...nothing to make them cross state lines on interest.
Perhaps I'm just out of touch. Even the NY Times is on the feeding frenzy. And it reports that "judge 'em all" judy is on the case, so that may explain it. Or not.
I mean, other than the families and friends and neighbors, who cares?
