How big? Among the biggest. Period.

USA Today is quick to pronounce Auburn's amazing 34-28 victory over Alabama today as one of the greatest finishes in college football history, and who can argue?
How much money changed hands over that game? Who can count it?
How many careers were changed? The Alabama kickers' failures contributed the most to the loss, especially that literally last second missed kick that allowed Auburn's Chris Davis to run 100 yards for a touchdown...apparently the first time that's happened in 45 years!
[Update: al.com reports death threats to Alabama kicker Cade Foster. Death threats?]
CNN reported that Alabama Quarterback A.J. McCarron tried to calm the fever:
"Football is just a game," McCarron said after the game, as he shifted nervously from his left foot to his right, surrounded by a bank of cameras. "It's not life. At a time like this, people need to realize the sun is going to rise tomorrow."
The Auburn Dealership that agreed to give away free cars if Auburn beat Alabama...make that blanked Alabama...is clearly breathing a sigh of relief, even though they had insurance to cover any losses.
A century from now people will talk about today's game. People who were there will tell their grandchildren.
     This was history.
