The church is not a building. It may meet in a building but the building is simply a gathering place.
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to have a building, you might as well put up a good one that will last, and will delight, educate and stir to devotion thousands of people over the years.
I like beautiful churches and appreciate the artistry and skill involved in building them.
Pope Francis' statement is simply about marginalizing poor people.
