M(*S)MMM #415 -- CBS and FOX get a black eye.

The recent 60 Minutes report on Benghazi has now been withdrawn by CBS, and a book written by the main source in their story recalled and cancelled by the publisher, owned by CBS.

And FOX? They trumpeted the 60-Minutes report over and over, using it as ammunition against The Obama Administration.

It turns out the main source in the story told different stories to the FBI and to CBS, and that raised enough doubt about the story for the network to retract it. Not unprecedented, but certainly very unusual. CBS should have done a better job questioning their source, since much of what he said was not backed up by another other source.
