Sunday Focus: The End Of Alabama's Immigration Albatross?

Alabama’s Legislature and governor were warned, vehemently and repeatedly, that H.B. 56 was a lunatic law that would impose unfair burdens on citizens, stifle the economy and harm public safety by enlisting local police in a pointless hunt for day laborers. Farmers, clergy members and business groups raised an alarm, which the Republicans who control the state government ignored.
(From a NY Times Editorial entitled Alabama Surrenders )

This week, State officials agreed to permanently remove most of the most onerous language in the law to settle the lawsuits over it.
The Gadsden Times reports Alabama Taxpayers will cough up lots of cash too:

(The State)...will pay $350,000 to cover attorney fees and expenses for the groups that challenged HB 56.

Can that money can be deduced from the paychecks of the legislators who sponsored the bill?
