NO we don't. Yes we DO!

    

     Will the Governor's office object strenuously to the million dollar grant from NASA to the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville as it has to asking for FEMA money to help city and towns which had big bills from the Winter Storm?
     Like it or not, Alabama is a dependent of the Federal Government. We get back much more in Federal funding than we pay in Federal taxes, $2.03 for each dollar we send, according to one list. 
     Yet there is the constant drumbeat against taking federal aid, and the Senators and Representatives we send to D.C. are always trying to cut the very funds we receive.
