A Week Later...

     I haven't heard a lot here in Alabama about a GOP vote against a bill benefiting veterans last Friday.
     Here's the story, which quotes Senator Jeff Sessions:

"We're not going to be intimidated on this," said Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee. "We're going to do the right things for the veterans of America.

     Most veterans groups supported the legislation, yet the Senate did it, cast a Vote against veteran's benefits....blocking the bill through a procedural move.

      It's one thing to talk a good talk about Veterans and loving the country, but it is another thing to actually pay for that support.
